ijUtils consists of a growing collection of scripts packaged together.
New: group to self works on a selection, parentShape works with objects parented to world
To install place the file in your user scripts folder. For windows that is My Documents/maya/6.0/scripts and then start maya. Enter the command “ijUtils;” into the command line to open it.
ijFlipShape – a utility for mirroring blendShapes.
ijParentShape – a utility for parenting multiple shapes to a single transform.
ijGroup2Self – add a group between an object and it’s parent
ijConnect2Surface – connect a nurbs surface to a UV coordinate of another surface – great for non-spherical eyes, sticking an object to a deforming surface.
ijCleanNames – strip numbers from selected objects names.
ijHideShapes – hide all shapes of selected transforms.
